THE ART OF GOOD CONVERSATIONS

by | Feb 11, 2022 | 0 comments

We all have many hundreds, if not thousands, of conversations each week; with our partners, our colleagues & clients and our friends.  How many of us, though, think about making those conversations truly useful, meaningful interactions?  In this weekly blog I will post a short question each time that you might use to spark creative and thoughtful conversations with those around you.

Try these and let me know how you get on!  Happy chatting.

This week’s question is: “What do you need from me [in this meeting/in this moment/in this project etc]?”

This week’s question is: “What is the most useful discussion we could have today in the time available: what would you like to focus on during our time together?”

This week’s question is: ”What can we achieve working together?”

This week’s question is: ”How can I best support you?”

This week’s question (for myself) is: ”What can I add to this conversation/meeting to support a person or the objective we are looking to achieve?”

This week’s question is: ”What has helped you in the past to be resilient in these types of situations?”

This week’s question is: ”What values matter to you most at the moment?”

This week’s question is: ”What are your thoughts/feelings on [this particular topic]?”

This week’s question is: ”When is a good time for us to discuss [this particular topic]?”

This week’s question is: ”How can we create the best outcome for [this particular challenge]?”

Don’t forget to book in for a Clarity Call with me below, if you feel I can help you with your in-house conversations…
